The hotel says the temple is 6 to 7 kilometres away and sells the stay as comfort after darshan rather than a room inside it. In a town of pilgrimage lodges, a resort with a direct website is aimed at families who want space, a car park and a quieter compound.
Judge it on current photos and the live rate, not on the word luxury. Six kilometres is a short drive and a long walk. If the group has elders who attend both morning and evening aarti, add the taxi cost to the room before you decide it is cheaper than Namami.
